USMC Iraqi Freedom Veteran Patch

USMC Iraqi Freedom Veteran Patch — Embroidered Patch

Anbar Province and Beyond

This Iraqi Freedom Veteran patch represents the Marines who served across the full spectrum of operations in Iraq — from the shock-and-awe opening campaign to the grinding counterinsurgency fight that defined the middle years, to the advisory missions that closed out American involvement. Every deployment, every patrol, every mission is honored in this patch.

The Marine Corps deployed multiple rotations to Iraq throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom, with each deployment bringing new challenges and hard-won lessons. The initial invasion showcased Marine combined arms maneuver warfare at its finest, while subsequent deployments in Anbar Province demanded a different kind of fighting — patience, cultural understanding, and the ability to build relationships with Iraqi tribal leaders while hunting insurgents. The Anbar Awakening, which saw Sunni tribes ally with Marines against Al-Qaeda in Iraq, became one of the war's most significant turning points. Marines adapted, improvised, and overcame in an environment that demanded everything they had.

Perfect For:
Iraq War Marine veterans, multiple-deployment OIF veterans, Anbar Awakening participants, Marine counterinsurgency veterans, OIF campaign medal holders, and Iraqi Freedom commemorators

Every rotation. Every fight. Iraqi Freedom veteran.
